　　“中欧都是国际社会中的‘大个子’，我们要牢牢把握中欧关系发展的正确方向，一道努力开辟中欧关系更加光明的下一个50年。”7月24日上午，习近平主席在北京人民大会堂会见来华举行第二十五次中国－欧盟领导人会晤的欧洲理事会主席科斯塔和欧盟委员会主席冯德莱恩。
　　1975年，中国与欧洲经济共同体（欧盟前身）建立外交关系，开启了中欧关系的新篇章。半个世纪以来，中欧关系历经风雨，不断走向成熟稳定，已成为世界上最具影响力的双边关系之一。会谈时，习主席以“大个子”为喻，生动描述中欧作为世界第二和第三大经济体的重要地位，传递出把握中欧发展航向的重要性。
