1985年6月，32岁的习近平同志来到厦门工作，“第一次直接参与沿海发达地区的改革开放，第一次亲历城市的建设和管理”。
一部习近平同志领导编制的《1985年—2000年厦门经济社会发展战略》，以前瞻性的战略眼光指明厦门永续发展之路。
30多年后，再次翻开这本发展战略，凝结其中的许多理念和举措富含开创性，直到今天仍具有指导意义。
